How is Mantrix different from Google Drive?
Google Drive uses server-side encryption and may scan content for policy enforcement. Mantrix encrypts before upload and is designed so Mantrix does not receive plaintext file contents or zero-knowledge decryption keys.
Is migrating from Google Drive difficult?
No. Download your files via Google Takeout, then upload to Mantrix through the Web Dashboard. For large migrations, use rclone with the S3 API add-on for automated transfer.
Does Mantrix work on mobile?
Yes, via the mobile browser Web App. Native iOS and Android apps are in development.
Where is my data stored?
Encrypted shards are distributed across service nodes. Mantrix is designed to store ciphertext, not plaintext file contents.
What happens if Mantrix receives a law enforcement request?
